Student Shows

In the Spring and Fall we host shows for students to experience riding among their peers and in front of friends and family.  Show ribbons are awarded First through Fifth place and participant for show classes, and Graduation ribbon awards for level graduates.  Show season usually involves show shopping!

Local Shows

Our Show Team attends Dressage, Hunter-Jumper, Combined Tests and Horse Trials competitions throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.  Show Team members must have necessary riding skills, show etiquette training and competition rules knowledge to participate in off site competitions.

U.S. Pony Clubs, Inc.

Students are encouraged but not required to join US Pony Clubs, Inc. because of the emphasis on horse management, team philosophy, and personal goal achievement.  Our student members participate in activities with Sandy Ridge Pony Club in the Carolina Region.  We also welcome any horse owning youth 5-25 to join us!

High School Equestrian Athlete Program

USEF is launching a program for High School Equestrian Athletes grades 9-12.  This exciting opportunity includes all high school or home school riders who meet qualifications of any riding discipline.  Upon registration and fulfilling requirements athletes will receive a USEF Varsity Letter Award and yearly pin.  Finally!
